Chhota Shigri is a well-studied glacier in the Lahaul region of Himachal Pradesh, India, and is smaller than Bara Shigri (roughly a few kilometers long). It is one of the Himalayan glaciers with detailed mass-balance measurements and monitoring.

Monitoring shows seasonal and interannual variability, with a trend toward negative mass balance and net ice loss in recent decades. As with many Himalayan glaciers, warming and reduced accumulation drive long-term retreat and thinning, affecting headwater river flows.
